You are buying a genuine used 6-speed automatic gearbox removed from a 2004 Jaguar S-Type 4.2 V8 Petrol. This is an OEM ZF 6HP26 unit carefully removed during dismantling and supplied in good working condition.

 

This is the ZF 6-speed J-Gate automatic transmission as fitted to the Phase 2 and Phase 3 Jaguar S-Type 4.2 V8. A faulty gearbox commonly presents with slipping, harsh shifting, limp mode, or failure to select gears — this unit is a direct replacement.

 

⚠️ Professional installation is required. Programming / adaptation by a Jaguar specialist or dealer is recommended after fitting.
