Technical Information

This is the adjustable fresh-air outlet positioned on the left side of the centre dashboard area.

It allows airflow from the vehicle’s:

• Heater system

• Cabin ventilation system

• Air-conditioning system where fitted

The adjustable internal vanes allow the occupant to control the direction of airflow.

Dashboard Specification

VW parts-catalogue information identifies 7H0815705A as:

Fresh Air Vent – Centre Left

and lists it in applications equipped with:

PR Code 4N2 – Standard Dashboard. (OEM Wolf)

This is important because Volkswagen offered different dashboard/interior configurations across the T5 range.

Common Reasons for Replacement

• Broken or missing vent fins

• Vent no longer stays in the selected position

• Cracked surrounding plastic

• Damaged adjustment mechanism

• Scratched or heavily worn original vent

• Dashboard replacement or interior restoration

Installation

Designed to fit into the original centre dashboard mounting position.

No programming or coding is required.

Care should be taken when removing and installing dashboard trim because older plastic clips and retaining points can become brittle.

Important Compatibility Note

Please match part number 7H0815705A / 7H0 815 705 A with your original part before purchasing.

This is the CENTRE LEFT dashboard air vent, not the centre-right vent.

The corresponding opposite/right-side vent uses a different part number.

Fitment can vary according to dashboard specification. Catalogue information specifically associates this version with the 4N2 standard dashboard, so please compare the shape, mounting points and part number with your existing vent before ordering.

Condition: Genuine used Volkswagen part. Normal cosmetic signs of previous use may be present. Please inspect the supplied photos for the exact condition.

Genuine Volkswagen OEM replacement – ideal for restoring the original appearance and operation of the T5 dashboard ventilation system.
