Description


Engine oil sump / oil pan, reference AC43400, removed from a 2004 Volkswagen Transporter T5 1.9 TDI AXC.


The sump is fitted to the bottom of the engine and acts as the main reservoir for the engine oil. It is designed to collect and retain lubricating oil before it is circulated through the engine by the oil pump.


The AXC 1.9 TDI 63kW / 85PS used in the T5 from 2003–2009 is confirmed as using this style of aluminium lower oil sump, including provision for the oil-level sensor.
